Specials of the Day

Each day the Canteen offers a special menu to introduce a healthy alternative to our regular menu items.  Generally the main meal is available to suit all appetites and budgets.  Please look at the Specials Board each Monday for the week, but remember that the listed items often sell out early, so it's wise to place a lunch order.

Our Canteen operates as a non-profit business, with funds raised being used to improve our school and its facilities. Our canteen is operated by the P&C and employs two supervisors, but also needs the help of regular parent and student volunteers.

The Canteen aims to offer a healthy and interesting range of good quality fresh food.  We are implementing the Fresh Tastes @ School program, as promoted by the Healthy Kids School Canteen Association.

Opening Hours are before school, recess and lunch.

Pre-ordering for lunch or recess is encouraged at the Canteen window, either before school in the morning, or at recess.  It will then be ready for collection from the lunch-order window at the requested time.  This saves waiting in the general queue and avoids disappointment.

Voluntary Assistanceis welcomed in the canteen at any time.  Fresh food preparation is time consuming, so any extra help is greatly appreciated.  We can also serve students more quickly with extra help.  Grandparents are welcome too.  If you can spare some time, please phone Roni or Vikki on 6771 2430 between 8.30am and 3.00pm.  Come along and enjoy the friendship and satisfaction of being part of the team.  At present, we are in urgent need of volunteers.
